Valentine's Day Light Box

I'm still on my Valentine's Day Decor kick. Today I made a Cupid's light box.
I used a Krafty Blok glass block that measures 7 1/2 X 7 1/2 X 3 1/8. It has a removable stopper so that you can put anything you'd like inside. I purchased a 2 ft. light rope at Home Depot for $3.97 so that I could make it a light box. I applied pink tissue paper to the front and back with Modge Podge. I cut the cupid and the Love out with my Cricut using the Sweethearts cartridge. The cupid is 5" and the Love is 2". I added a rose die cut and a heart die cut from the Je t'Adore line by Making Memories. Everything is applied with Modge Podge and a final coat on top also. Then I blinged it up a bit with some Stickles glitter glue and tied a bow around it. Voila, a darling decoration!

Supplies used: Krafty Blok by Diamond Tech; pink tissue paper - no source; cardstock - pink, red and metallic gold; die cuts - Je t'Adore by Making Memories; ribbon - Kirkland from Costco; pink, platinum and xmas red Stickles glitter glue; rope light - Home Depot; Modge Podge

Happy Valentine's Day!!

This has a Victorian feel, which I love. I also equate romanticism with the Victorian era and that shines through with this project! Love it!
