Die Cuttin' Divas What Makes You Happy Challenge

I apologize to all, this post is two days late!

My hubby had surgery on Tuesday to reattach a tendon in his right arm. Of course it's the arm he uses to do everything. He is in a hard cast and sling for quite some time and, as he puts it, "He is semi useless to totally worthless." Anyway, I have been very busy and preoccupied, as you can imagine, so I totally forgot to get this post up and running.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is What Makes You Happy?.

.

Well, for me, Coffee is one of the things that makes me happy.

I thought it would be cute to dress up my Keurig.
I used two cut files from Silhouette Studio to create this little sign out of vinyl.

The first cut file I used was Coffee Love Frame
and the second was Dear Coffee, I Need You

Supplies used: vinyl in white and red sparkle; Silhouette Studio cut files.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Where I live the little ones have been back to school for a couple weeks now. Gone are the days where summer vacation lasts from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

I found this cute file by Lori Whitlock at Silhouette Design Store.
The file is called STICKY NOTE EASEL CARD TEACHER and you can find it here

So cute, and functional! What teacher wouldn't love to receive this?

Supplies used: cardstock - white, 2 shades of brown, 2 shades of yellow, blue, red, green. grey, black: Silhouette Studio cut file, Sticky Notes.

Die Cuttin' Divas Birthday Wishes Challenge

Are you a fan of Spellbinders? I am!

They are our sponsor for this weeks challenge and they were very generous to send all of the design team dies to work with.

There is some fabulous inspiration using Spellbinders dies as you visit the blog.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is Birthday Wishes.

.

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is:

For my card I used the die set ornamental arch
This die makes a beautiful focal point for a sentiment or a stamped image.
Personally, I think it would make an absolutely gorgeous wedding card.

I happen to belong to Spellbinders monthly card kit club, so I used some leaf dies I have received in my card kit to accent the arch, along with some flowers I had on hand.

Supplies used: cardstock - white, gold; patterned papers by Basic Grey; dies from Spellbinders; Sentiment from Technique Tuesday; flowers and rhinestones from my stash.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.
