Woof

I was browsing through Pinterest the other night (not at all like me), mostly looking at cards.
It's so fun to see so much creativity out there!

A cute little card with a kitty perching over an envelope caught my eye.

It inspired me to make this little card with a stamp set I've had for years called Woof Woof by Recollections

I made the little envelope with kraft card stock using a Silhouette Studio cut file.

I think it is a fun card that you could use for almost any occasion.

Supplies used: card stock - kraft, recycled white; patterned paper from Chalkboard 6X6 paper pack by We R Memory Keepers; stamps - Woof Woof by Recollections; Ink - Jet Black Archival; enamel dots - Chalk by Adorn It; Pop Dots; Silhouette Studio cut file.

Die Cuttin' Divas Kid Theme (In honor of Cartoonist Day May 5th) Challenge

I have two daughters and when they were growing up I think the two most popular cartoons for girls were My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake.

It seemed as though one of the two were always on the TV at my house.

Both of these cartoons are back now, although the characters in each have undergone makeovers!!

This week we are having a kid themed challenge in honor of Cartoonist Day on May 5th.

In honor of my daughters I chose to make something with Strawberry Shortcake

The treat bag I made is a "Print and Cut" file at the Silhouette Store and couldn't be easier.

It is called berry sweet treat bag and is Design ID #74519

Supplies used: photo paper -  Staples; Silhouette Studio cut file; ribbon - Michaels; Pop Dots.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

I love the font cut out and the darling carrots with their frilly tops.

Die Cuttin' Divas Zoo Awareness Day Challenge

It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas,

This week we are going to roar, growl, trumpet, bleat, snort, howl and otherwise. In other words we are going to the zoo!

The challenge is Zoo Awareness Day

I took this giraffe - Design ID #64230  from the Silhouette store and erased the balloon, then cut it out.

I decided to go monochromatic and make a little baby card with it.

Supplies used: card stock -  white, green; patterned papers by Three Bugs in a Rug, stamp by Papertrey Inc.; ink by Stampin' Up; Silhouette Studio cut file; twine - my stash.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.
Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!
