Die Cuttin' Divas - Make It Girly

Wow, can't believe it is almost May!

Do you have any May Day plans?

Tuesday has rolled around again which means it's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas!

This week our challenge is Make It Girly

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is 3 Girl Jam and you have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to their online store.

I chose to use a cut file from Designs On Cloud Nine which you can purchase here.

I just had to use some glitter paper for the soles of the high heels, because what girly girl doesn't like a little bling? I created the sentiment on my computer and added some pretty rose trim along with some glitter ribbon.

Supplies used: card stock - white, shiny black, pink glitter; rose trim and black glitter ribbon from my local scrapbook store; font - your choice.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Die Cuttin' Divas - Earth Day Challenge

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend!! My husband and I traveled to my parents home for Easter and had a wonderful time. As always the time went by far to fast. Tuesday has rolled around again which means it's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas!

This week our challenge is Earth Day, use something recycled.

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is Digital Delights and you have a chance to win a $5 gift certificate.

I chose to recycle a paper bag from Staples and used it to cut out the sentiment and my little bear. I also used scraps left over from other projects for the other cuts on my card.

I pulled out my Give A Hoot Cricut cartridge for both the sentiment and my die cuts.

Supplies used: card stock - kraft, black, brown, grey, metallic grey, green, red; Give A Hoot Cricut cartridge; corner rounder - Fiskars; Pop Dots

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Be A Happy Camper

I wanted to play along in a couple of challenges this week.

Over at Less Is More this week the challenge is ROUND and ROUND
You may interpret this as you wish, but we must be able to recognise the connection!

And over at Addicted To CAS the theme this week is Wheels.

I "cased" a card by Elena at Just Me, that I had fallen in love with. I used several stamp sets to make my version. I fussy cut out the car and camper so I could use pop dots to give them some dimension.

Supplies used: card stock - white, red; stamps - Mr. Campy by Cosmo Cricket, sampler2love by The Stamps of Life and Slang Gang by Paper Smooches; ink - Jet Black by StazOn; Copic Markers; Pop Dots.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!
