I used a cut file from the Silhouette Store by Sweet Afton called Ghost Window Pane Card.

I added rhinestones for the ghosts eyes and I think it makes them look more spooky!

Die Cuttin' Divas Count Your Buttons Challenge

Tuesday has rolled around again, are you up for a new challenge?

Do you have a button box? Do you like to create something using buttons?

Well, we have the perfect challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas

This week our challenge is Count Your Buttons.

.

I'm still having fun creating Halloween cards, so I went for another one using buttons.

I "cased" a card I saw on Pinterest.

I used cut files from Silhouette Studio to cut out the spider web and the spiders.

I used a spider web border punch to ad some fun detail to the inside of the card.

I just wrote the "eek" sentiment by hand because I didn't have a stamp that worked.

Supplies used: card stock - black, white, purple, silver glitter;  Silhouette Studio cut files: twine and buttons from my stash.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

I decided to make little cookie pouches to give to the ladies in my bible study group.
Since it is Halloween this month, I went with a Halloween theme.

It is made with a Silhouette cut file and cute papers by Doodlebug.

Cut It Up Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge

As I think almost everyone is aware, October is breast cancer awareness month!

I am a survivor!!! I found a lump a little over 15 years ago and my journey began. I went through a mastectomy on my left breast, chemo, reconstructive surgeries, and Tamoxifen for 5 years. It was all grueling, but I am living to tell about it, and that is GOOD!!

One in 7 women will get breast cancer. Not very good odds. But early detection is a huge factor in survival rates.

Check your breasts and get your mamograms!!!

Our challenge over at Cut It Up is "Breast Cancer Awareness", create a project that promotes breast cancer awareness, and don't forget the die cut!

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is CAS-ual Friday Stamps you have a chance to win a $15 certificate for their store.

For my project I used a stamp set and 2 dies from our VERY generous sponsor Cas-ual Friday Stamps. The sets are from her "Calling All Sistahs" line.

I just love this beautiful Breast Cancer Ribbon with all the pretty flowers.

Supplies Used: card stock - white, pink, yellow; pattern paper by We R Memory Keepers and Carta Bella; Stamps and dies by CAS-ual Friday Stamps; border punch by Martha Stewart

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!
