Die Cuttin' Divas Anything Goes Challenge

I am back from my trip to the big island of Hawaii.

My husband and I traveled with two of our good friends, and we all 4 had a wonderful time.

We went snorkeling, we went to Akaka Falls, Tex Drive in for the best Malasadas, Waipi'o Valley lookout, Pololu Valley lookout, Hawaii Volcanos National Park, an Island Breeze luau, and the list goes on.

Now its back to reality.

Since it's Tuesday, it's time for a new challenge.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is Anything Goes!

.

I bought this cute little wooden sign at Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago.

I chose to use it as inspiration to create a card.

The hearts were cut from glitter paper using a cut file in Silhouette Studio.
The little arrows are dies from Technique Tuesday.
I created the sentiment on my computer.

You never know where you may find inspiration for a card!

Supplies used: card stock - white, black, red glitter, white glitter patterned paper by Spellbinders; cut file from Silhouette Design Store; dies by Techinque Tuesday; sentiment created on my computer; corner rounder by Fiskars.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

5 Cards from 1 Kit - Spellbinders Card Kit

If you are looking for a fabulous monthly card kit, I highly recommend Spellbinders!

Their card kit has everything, and I mean everything, you need to make 10 or more cards.

It comes with card stock, a 6X6 pad of pattern papers, card blanks with envelopes, dies, stamps, stickers, etc.

Just check out what came in this months kit:

Contents-Square

I thought I would share 5 of the many cards I created with this kit.

For the first card everything I used was in the kit other than a die from my stash to cut out the large heart and some black stickles.

For the second card, the only thing I added, not from the kit, was some blue twine.

The third card had an addition of some pink glitter paper for a little sparkle.

The fourth card my addition was a heart shaped doily.

The last card my addition was some border dies from my stash.

All in all, I was able to make some great cards with just a few added items from my supplies.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cut It Up How's The Weather Challenge

What's your weather been like lately?

Sunday evening we had quite a bit of snow. The rest of the week has been mostly cloudy, with the sun poking its head out now and then.

Our challenge this week is How's The Weather? Create a project to include weather and don't forget the die cut!

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is Avery Elle and you have a chance to win a $20 certificate to their store.

I chose to use this challenge to make a card for breast cancer.

I used a cut file from Silhouette Studio to cut out my umbrella. For the stitched clouds I used dies by Lawn Fawn.

I created the sentiment in Silhouette and cut it out of vinyl.

Supplies Used: cardstock - white, black, grey, silver glitter; patterned paper by Lawn Fawn, cut file by Silhouette; stitched cloud dies by Lawn Fawn; raindrop stamp from Simon Says Stamp

Die Cuttin' Divas Glitter or Foil Challenge

Well, the holidays have come and gone, now its back to "normal" life.

It is always bittersweet in so many ways. While I'm glad all the work and rushing around is over, I miss the decorations, the Christmas music and pretty much all of the festivities. Also, my house looks so darn empty!

At Die Cuttin' Divas we are going to keep a little of the sparkle going with this weeks challenge.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is glitter or foil.

.

I still have all my Christmas papers and embellishments out in my craft room, so I figured I might as well get a head start on next years Christmas cards.

I mean glitter paper is just perfect for holiday cards, right?

I die cut the trees out of both patterned and glitter paper, using a Silhouette Studio cut file.

A white embossed background, some die cut stars, a cute sentiment with gold foil letters, and a few rhinestones round out my card.

Supplies used: card stock - white, red, silver glitter; patterned papers and sentiment die cut from "Deer" Santa by Spellbinders, cut file from Silhouette Studio; rhinestones from my stash.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Happy New Year!

2019!!! Hard to believe its been almost 20 years since Y2K, Haha.

Do you have any New Years resolutions? It seems I always make a few, but honestly I've never fulfilled one for a whole year. Well, try, try again as they say.

I have several this year - to drink more water, to walk more, and in general, get more healthy.

I also have a few crafty ones, like to make Christmas cards and projects every month so I have more done before December arrives next, year :).

Anyway, it's Tuesday so lets move on to our new challenge for this week.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is a sketch challenge.

.

I used supplies from my December Spellbinders card kit to make my card.

I have to admit that I "cased" a card I saw on Pinterest by Zsoka Marko. It was just so pretty!

I used a scalloped oval die by Papertrey Ink. Papers, dies, twine, stickers all from Spellbinders.

Supplies used: card stock - white, brown, and pink; patterned papers, dies, twine, sentiment sticker all from Spellbinders; scalloped oval die from Papertrey Ink; rhinestones from my stash.
