Die Cuttin' Divas Anything Goes Challenge

I can hardly believe it is the last day of January! It seemed to just fly by.

Today is my grandson's 9th birthday! Looking forward to helping him celebrate tonight.

Happy Birthday Jeff!

Since it's Tuesday it is time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas

This week our challenge is Anything Goes, so your creativity has free reign :)

.

I thought I would share the lollipop treat holders I made for my grandsons to give to his classmates on Valentines Day.

I cut 24 of them out using a cut file called Kawaii Shovel Lollipop Cover by SVG Cutting Files.

I created the sentiment on my computer using the font LDJ Lefthand Jam. The back of the sentiment tag has my grandsons name.

They each have a Tootsie Roll Pop inside.

My grandson loves them, hope his classmates do too!

Supplies used: Card stock - white, black, kraft, red, pink; cut file - SVG Cutting Files; black twine from May Arts; font - LDJ Lefthand Jam; white pen.

Die Cuttin' Divas Blue and Silver Challenge

When I saw this challenge theme, the first thought that came into my head was the song "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer".  You know the part in the song that goes:

Now the goose is on the table
And the pudding made of fig
And the blue and silver candles
That would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig.

Don't know why that thought came, I guess it's just to close to Christmas getting over, LOL.

Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas

This week our challenge is to use blue and silver.

.

For my card I used three files from Silhouette Studio. A snowflake, a christmas tree and the "Joy" sentiment.

I also used a snowflake stamp from a set by Simon Says Stamp, which I heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

I cut the snowflake and "Joy" out of silver glitter paper.

I embossed the Christmas tree die cut to add a little dimension.

Supplies used: Card stock - white, blue, silver glitter; Silhouette Studio cut files; cute snowflakes stamp set by Simon Says Stamp; silver embossing powder; Versamark by Tsukineko; embossing folder from James set by Cuttlebug; twine - American Crafts; rhinestone - Kaiser Craft; Pop Dots.

It's been a great couple weeks, but I'm glad to be back.

It's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas

This week our challenge is to use a Dragon.

.

For my card I dusted off my Cricut and pulled out the "Pagoda" cartridge to cut my dragon.

An Asian coin makes the perfect embellishment!
