My house and yard are completely "spooked" up and I am ready for my annual Halloween party on Saturday night :)

Over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week we are getting ready for Ghosts and Goblins too.

Our challenge this week is Halloween

Die Cuttin' Divas Breast Cancer Challenge

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As a breast cancer survivor myself (14 years!) this is a cause that is important to me. I don't want my daughters or any other woman to go through what I did. Early detection is the best defense, so get those mammograms ladies!!!

Over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week we are participating in spreading awareness.

Our challenge this week for Breast Cancer month is to use pink.

For my card I used several cut files from Silhouette Studio:

Die Cuttin' Divas Dessert Challenge

Tuesday has arrived again so it's time to pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas for their new challenge.

This week our challenge is dessert

.

I decided to do a bit of a twist on the challenge.

I made a "cheesecake" Christmas card using a cut file from Silhouette studio.

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Can't believe it, but we woke up to a dusting of snow on the hillside this morning.

I swear it was just 80° last week!

Tuesday as arrived again so it's time to pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas for their new challenge.
This week and it is a sketch challenge.

.

I chose to use the sketch for a halloween card.

I used a die from Lil' inkers called Bats and Broomsticks which you can purchase here.

The moon is a stitched circle die by Lawn Fawn.

The patterned papers are by Authentique and the sentiment is from the stamp set by Li' inkers called Bats and Broomsticks which happens to be on sale right now and you can purchase it here

Supplies used: card stock - black, orange, yellow, vanilla; patterned paper from Moonlit 6X6 pad by Authentique; stamp set and die by Lil' inkers; Versamark ink pad; embossing powder from my stash; Pop Dots.

Thinking of You!

My Mom is my biggest fan and insists on "purchasing" all her cards from me.

You heard that right, she insists on paying me although I'd be happy to give them to her.

She recently asked me to make her some "masculine" Thinking of You cards.

I thought the recent sketch at Freshly Made Sketches lent it itself perfectly for just that type of card.

For my card I used some patterned paper I picked up at Target of all places, and a leaf die by Sizzix.

The sentiment is from a stamp set by Simon Says Stamp that I received in their latest card kit.

Supplies used: card stock - kraft, orange and blue; patterned paper from a 6X6 pad in the Target dollar aisle; die - Sizzix; stamps set - Nutty Over You by Simon Says Stamp; enamel dots - Recollections; Versamark ink; embossing powder from my stash; Pop Dots

Thanks for stopping by!
