Die Cuttin' Divas Anything Goes Challenge

Our long weekend has come to an end, it's Tuesday and it's time for a new challenge over at  Die Cuttin' Divas .

This week we'd like to let your creative juices flow anyway you like.

Our challenge this week is anything goes!

.

I had just received some awesome Christian themed stamps from Papertrey Ink and wanted to play with them, so I created my card around one of the stamps from the Phrases and Praises set.

I used two dies when creating this card. The little sail boat is a die by Simon Says Stamp and the fun waves die is by Memory Box.

Supplies used: card stock -sandy brown, blue; patterned papers by Bo Bunny and Authentique; stamps - Papertrey Ink; dies - Simon Says Stamp and Memory Box, ink - Archival; Pop Dots.

Let Go, Let God Card

Stopping in on a gorgeous Sunday to share a Faith based card with you.

I just received some awesome Christian stamp sets from Papertrey Ink and have been having so much fun creating cards with them.

Today I have a card for you that uses their Phrases and Praises stamp set which you can purchase here.

This phrase inspired me to make a nautical themed card with a life preserver. I was just thinking about how, sometimes, I just seem to want to hang on for dear life to a problem and solve it myself, when really what I should do is let go and hand it over to God. It's like not wanting to let go of your life preserver and reach your hand out to the person trying to help you to safety.

Can I get an AMEN on that one?

I cut my little life preserver out using the Life's A Beach cartridge by Cricut.

Supplies used: card stock white, red and kraft; patterned papers in Anchored by Authentique; twine - May Arts; Stamps - Phrases and Praises by Papertrey Ink; border punch - EK Success; ink - Archival Black; white marker - Recollections.

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

You're Pretty Cool Kid

Just popping in today to share a card that I "cased" from a card I saw on Pinterest by Lizzie Jones, which you can see on her blog post here.

I just loved the way the fan was blowing confetti in the air! I though it would be fun, festive, and sparkly, to have my confetti be sequins.

I didn't have the stamp set she used, but they had the perfect little print and cut fan at the Silhouette Store. I masked a little oval on my card base and sponged it with some grey ink, and then placed my fan on top of it with some pop dots.

I created my sentiment on the computer. A little piece of scrap patterned paper from my stash for the bottom border and my card was complete :)

Supplies Used: card stock - white; patterned paper in Fiction by Basic Grey; print and cut file from Silhouette Studio; sequins from Papertrey Inc.; Pop Dots

We are coming up on Memorial Day weekend! Does anyone have any special plans?

It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge over at  Die Cuttin' Divas

The sentiment is a stamp from a SSS Stamptember set by Mama Elephant called Skater Kids.
I filled in the "Birthday" letters with a glitter pen.

Supplies used: card stock -white, grey, 2 shades of yellow; patterned paper by Lawn Fawn; stamps - Mama Elephant; cut file - Silhouette Studio, ink - Archival; rhinestone - Kaiser Craft; Glitter pen; circle hole punch - EK Success.
