It's Tuesday and we have a new challenge for you over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Valentine's Day is upon us this weekend and we are gearing up for it with our "Say It With Love" challenge.

.

For this challenge I decided to dust off my Cricut and pull out a couple of my favorite cartridges to make a Valentine's Day card for my sweetheart.

I used the Sentimentals cartridge and the Sweethearts cartridge.

The hand was cut using the Sentimentals cartridge and the envelope was cut using the Sweethearts cartridge.

I hope my Valentine likes his card :)

Supplies used: card stock -vanilla, pink, peach; patterned papers by My Minds Eye; Sentimentals and Sweethearts Cricut cartridges; stamps set - Simply Jane by Papertrey Ink; Frayed Burlap ink by Tim Holtz; pearls by Kaiser Craft; Lace - Michaels

I used only the skunks face from the cut file for the card and created the sentiment on my computer.

You can use the treat box for candy, but since it was going in the mail I put a little Starbucks gift card in mine :)

SSS February Card Kit

Hello all!

Last week I received my Simon Says Stamp card kit for February! Can I tell you all how much I am loving the goodies that come in this kit. From card stock, darling patterned papers, oh so cute embellishments and, often times, fun dies, you just get a bunch of fun goodies to make cards with.

Today I thought I'd share with you just a few of the cards I made over the weekend.

For the first card I used a stamp from the Hello Beautiful stamp set, patterned paper by Crate Paper, epoxy stickers by Crate Paper,  the Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Outline Hearts Wafer Thin Die and a sticker from the Package of Gold Foiled Sentiment Stickers by Crate Paper; all included in the kit.

For the second card I went very simple and used card stock, patterned paper and epoxy stickers from the kit.

For the third card, I have to admit, I cased a darling card I saw on Pinterest by Ellen Hutson. I used patterned papers, epoxy stickers, sequins and sentiment stickers; all from the kit, along with a few additions.

Hope this provides you with some inspiration and thanks for stopping by!!!!!

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

We had some cute entries for our Chocolate Cake challenge last week over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

This week we have a sketch for you to have a go at.

.

I decided to make a spinning wheel card where you can pick your answer to the question: Will You Be My Valentine?

I purchased the cut file for the wheel from Silhouette Studio, it is called DOUBLE PEEK-A-BOO ROTATING WHEEL
by MiniLou
Design ID #117099

I used my Print Shop program to print Yes, Always, No and Maybe on the inside portion of the wheel.

I ended up using a circle punch to cut a little notch out of the top portion of the wheel, because I found that it made it much easier to spin the inner wheel.

Supplies used: card stock -white, pink; patterned papers by Crate Paper; cut file by Silhouette Studio; stamps by The Stamps of Life; ink - Archival Black; puffy heart stickers by EK Sticko; brad from my stash.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!
