Die Cuttin' Divas Anything Goes Challenge

Have all of you gone to see Beauty and the Beast?

Took my grandkids last week, we all loved it!!!!!

It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas .

The challenge this week is "Anything Goes"

.

I just love Audrey Hepburn, so when I saw this cut file by Daniela Moscone at the Silhouette store, I just knew I had to create something with it.

I found this quote by Audrey Hepburn:

"The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years"

It inspired me to create a birthday card.

You can purchase the card here

I also added the birthday speech bubbles which are a "print and cut" file which you can purchase here.

I typed and added the quote from my Print Shop program.

Supplies used: Card stock - white, black, yellow, kraft, metallic silver; rhinestones by Kaiser Kraft; cut files from Silhouette Studio.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Cut It Up "You've Got Me in Stitches" Challenge

I thought it was spring, but back to snow today :(

I did get a walk down by the river in yesterday, while the sun was shining. The dogs were happy, as was I.  Looking forward to weather we can walk to on a regular basis.

TGIF and time for a new challenge over at Cut It Up!

This week our challenge over at Cut It Up is "You've Got Me in Stitches".  Use real or faux stitching on your project.

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is Fleurette Bloom and you have a chance to win a $10 certificate to their store.

Now on to my creation:

I used a cut file from Fleurette Bloom to create my treat holder.

It is called New Candy Treat Wrap which you can purchase here.

I did some zig zag stitching with my sewing machine using mutli-colored pastel thread.

The little chick is a cut file by Doodlebug which I purchased from Silhouette Studio.

The band is held closed with a brad. When you open it there is a slot to tuck a candy treat into.

Supplies Used: card stock - 2 shades of yellow, pink, blue, green, black, orange; pattern paper by Doodlebug; cut files by Fluerette Bloom and Silhouette Studio; sewing machine, thread, brad, candy.

Tiny Shamrocks

Are you a wee bit Irish?

I am, and I like to go green in a big way on St. Patricks Day. The family comes over for dinner and we have all kinds of green things to eat and drink. So fun!!!

I wanted to share a simple little CAS card I made for the sketch challenge over at Case This Sketch.

I pulled out a sweet little stamp I purchased years ago at Michaels and a cute vase die from Paper Smooches.

Authetique came out with a fabulous paper line called Emerald which was just perfect for my card!

Supplies Used: cardstock - white; patterned papers from Emerald by Authentique; Stamp - Michaels; Kuretake brush tip pens; die - Paper Smooches; stitched rectangle die - Simon Says Stamp; twine - my stash.

Thanks for stopping by!

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

We got more snow yesterday :(
I think I am MORE than ready for spring.
Snow, snow go away, come again some other YEAR!

Daylight Savings time is near, must be a sign that spring is on the way, right?!

It is Tuesday again and time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

This week our challenge is a sketch.

.

I just rec'd my Simon Says Stamp card kit in the mail. It had the cutest bunny in the included stamp set, so I opted for an Easter Card so I could ink him up.

The kit also came with a darling egg stencil that I used for his background.

I die cut an oval in some patterned paper by Doodlebug to leave an opening for the egg stencil to peek through.

The sentiment is from the stamp set also!

Supplies used: Card stock - white, black, blue; pattern paper by Doodlebug; twine by Lawn Fawn; Copic markers; stencil - SSS; Versamark; white embossing powder; sequins.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!
