Die Cuttin's Divas Easter Challenge

Easter is this coming Sunday!

Is anyone participating in an Easter Egg Hunt?

I miss those days, when my children were little and we'd hide the eggs in the yard and watch them go on the hunt. So much fun :)

We are getting in the Easter spirit this week, our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Easter.

.

I decided to move away from bunnies and chicks and go for a little bit more sophisticated card.

I found this Lily card at the Silhouette store

For the sentiment I used a stamp from one of my Paper Smooches stamp sets.

Supplies used: card stock - white, green, black, vanilla, yellow;  patterned paper from my stash; Silhouette Cut File; stamps by Paper Smooches, white embossing powder, pearls.

Cut It Up Easter Challenge

We have had lots and lots of rain the last few days!

I'm hoping "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow", I'm ready for some spring weather.

Can't wait to see some flowers blooming, tired of looking out the window at dead looking plants and dreariness. Anyone with me on that one?

Well, anyway, it's time for a new challenge!!

Our new challenge over at Cut It Up is Easter!
Create an Easter themed project. Don't forget a die cut!

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is The Cutting Cafe, and you have a chance to win 3 sets of your choice from their store.

I was given a darling wheelbarrow box cut file from their store to work with, which you can purchase here.

It is very easy to put together and would make a darling addition, at each place setting, for your Easter brunch.

A little Easter grass and a few treats, and viola, super cuteness for your guests.

Supplies Used: card stock - white, black, kraft, pink; patterned papers by Doodlebug; cut file by The Cutting Cafe; brad.

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!

Die Cuttin' Divas Flowers Challenge

I'm ready to see some flowers blooming, how about you?

We are getting closer to April and the saying goes. April showers bring May flowers.

What's your favorite? Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinth, Crocus?

This week our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Flowers.

.

I chose a project from Cricut Design Space for my card.
I really liked the pretty 3D flower.

I used my sewing machine to add some stitching.

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

If wishes were fishes we'd all take a swim!

My husband always says that to me. I suppose he's right, I have lots of wishes so I'd be in a huge lake I think.

Anyway, this weeks sketch inspired me to make a fishy card.

This week our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas is a Sketch Challenge.

.

I have the cutest stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn called Fintastic Friends.
So many cute elements in this set besides the different fish. Coral, seaweed, sand castle, etc.
I had a lot of fun making my little scenes inside the cut out circles.

I also used a stitched hillside die by Lawn Fawn for the sand, and some stitched circle dies by Simon Says Stamp to cut out my circles on the card front.

Supplies used: card stock - white, blue;  Stamp set by Lawn Fawn; dies by Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp; Copic markers; Bubbles sprinkles epoxy stickers by Doddlebug; sequins.

Cut It Up Digitally Yours Challenge

This weekend the time changes for a lot of us!

We get to enjoy that precious daylight into the evening. I love that, because then my husband and I still have time to get in a walk when he gets home from work. Makes the dog happy too.

Also, to me, it is one of the biggest signs that spring is on the way.

Well, on to business. Time for a new challenge.

Our new challenge over at Cut It Up is Digitally Yours!
Create a project with a digital stamp on it. Don't forget a die cut!

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is A Day For Daisies, you have a chance to win $12 gift card (equal to 3 images of choice) to their store.

I created a card using an image from their store which you can purchase here,  called Happy Hot Air Balloon.

I printed the image out twice, once on paper I could color with Copic markers, and once on the plaid patterned paper (so I could use that for the balloon).

The actual card is a cut file from Cricut Design Space.

I attached many of the pieces with Pop Dots to give it dimension.

Supplies Used: card stock - white, yellow, bluepatterned papers from Echo Park, and Doodlebug; cut file by Cricut Design Space; digital image from A Day For Daisies; Pop Dots.

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!

Anyone making Leprechaun traps?

I love how the cut file even came with the little Kiss "Niggly Wiggly" Bet you didn't know that the little Hershey Kiss paper flag was called a Niggly  Wiggly!
If you don't believe me, just Goggle it :)
