Die Cuttin' Divas - Celebrate Umbrella Month

Tuesday has rolled around once again, so it's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas!

This week our challenge is Celebrate Umbrella Month, include an umbrella somewhere on your project.

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is The Scrapbooking Queen and the prize is Jillibean Soup papers.

I chose to make a card with a love theme.

My Heart Is Yours

This is my second post today.

I wanted to play along with the sketch challenge over at Case This Sketch this week.

For my card I inked up a "itty bitty" by Unity called Love Birds!

Some layering, a little sewing and a few sequins and my creation is complete.

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, black; patterned paper - Black and Ivory Love Script by Canvas Corp, scrap from my stash; stamps - Love Birds by Unity; ink - Jet Black by StazOn; sequins - Martha Stewart; sewing machine; Pop Dots.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek, enjoy your day!

Lets Get Sip Faced

I have this fun stamp set by Unity called Let's get "Sip" Faced that I have been wanting to ink up.

I decided it would make a cute card for the sketch challenge over at Retro Sketches this week.

For my card I used some Stampin' Up ink with some Colorizer embossing powder and did a little heat embossing.I had this cute, sparkly brad in my stash and I though it gave the card the perfect touch of bling.

Supplies used: card stock - purple, metallic grey, stamps - Let's Get "Sip" Faced by Unity; ink - Stampin' Up; embossing powder and heat gun - Colorizer; brad - my stash; pop dots.

Thanks for popping by and have a super day!

Die Cuttin' Divas - Snack Lovers

Tuesday has rolled around once again, so it's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas!

This week our challenge is Snack Lovers (make something with your favorite snack on it)
Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is The Scrapbooking Queen and the prize is Jillibean Soup papers.

I love to snack on pretzels, so I decided to make a card with a pretzel on it.

I cut the salt shaker and the pretzel out using the Cricut cartridge "From My Kitchen". The salt was dabbed on using a stylus and white acrylic paint. I created the sentiment in my Print Shop program and printed it on my card stock.

Supplies used: card stock - white, gray, metallic grey, kraft, two shades of brown; From My Kitche Cricut cartridge; white acrylic paint; stylus; font - Plasmatica

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

I Love You So Mulch

Hi, I'm popping in today with a card I created for a couple of challenges.

Over at Paper Smooches there is a new challenge using this picture as inspiration:

And there is a fun challenge this week over at Casology with a cue card of "Roots"

At first I thought it was going to be very hard for me to come up with a card using that cue. Then I remembered this darling stamp set by Paper Smooches that I had called Green Thumb. I knew it had carrots and radishes in it and, I believe, they are both root vegetables. Thus my card came into being.

Supplies used: card stock - white; patterned papers from Fiction 6 X 6 pad by Basic Grey and Bitty Dot Basics by Papertrey Inc.; stamps - Green Thumb by Paper Smooches; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; Copic Markers; corner rounder - Fiskars.

You Make Life Bright

I'd like to share another card I created for Operation Write Home. As I stated in a previous post they are collecting Mother's Day cards at the moment.

I'm entering it in the challenge over at Case This Sketch this week.

For my card I used the stamp set Shine On by Unity and a die cut by Lil Inker Designs.

I stamped my lamp image on the tag and then on some patterned paper so that I could fussy cut the lamp shade out. I popped up the lamp shade and the die cut "mom".

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla; patterned paper - Tickled Pink in Happy Go Lucky by Pebbles; stamps - Shine On by Unity; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; die - Lil Inker Designs; rhinestones - KI by Hampton Arts; Copic markers; twine and tag - my stash; Pop Dots
