OK.....lets get merry / CTO #75

It has been so hot here lately that it seems kind of strange to be thinking about Christmas. Never hurts to get a head start on the holidays and they'll be here before we know it, right?

That's what our challenge is about, this week, at Celebrate The Occasion  - Christmas!
The design team has some fun creations to show you and get you started thinking about the holidays, so stop on by and take a look. We'd love for you to link up with us and show us your Christmas project.

Digi Doodle Shop is our sponsor this month and the prize will be a $10 gift certificate to their shop!!!!

For my project I thought I would get a head start on gift ideas. This is an inexpensive project that is fun to create, fun to receive and easy peasy. I burned a CD of all my favorite Christmas songs. I then decorated the CD itself with some Christmas rub ons. For the case I made an insert with patterned paper. The Christmas tree is a cut file from Silhouette Studio. I then I just tied the case with a pretty ribbon and attached a to/from card,

Supplies used - cd & case; patterned papers from Jingle collection by Sweetwater; rub ons - American Crafts and Reminisce; ribbon - Michaels; safety pin - Making Memories; To/From tag -  October Afternoon

Great idea in addition to being festive and colorful ! A nice bonus is that it is not terribly expensive. The ribbon is so beautiful !

Hot here in Paso, too! Over 100 for many days now. Ready for a break - maybe just 98 tomorrow, then back to 100+! he he he - soon we'll be complaining about the cold, women - gotta love them!

Blessings for a great week!

I love that sentiment with the CD, like you need to get ready to get down once you open it, so cute :)
