When making Halloween cards for Operation Write Home they ask that the cards are not what I would call morbid. No skulls, grave stones, blood, etc. The reason being that there is a possibility that this may be the last card someone gets from a love one. Terrible thought to think, but unfortunately one that must be considered.
I came across these darling papers by Reminisce recently. They were just perfect for OWH cards with their darling vintage images. I grabbed this weeks sketch from OWH's Stars and Stamps blog and went to work.
Here are close ups of the individual cards:
Supplies used: cardstock - black, orange; patterned papers from Halloween collection by Reminisce; Stickers from Halloween by Reminisce; ribbon - Making Memories and Michaels; buttons - Little Yellow Bicycle and my stash; twine - Trendy Twine and Liz's Paper Loft Boutique; Brads - Making Memories; rhinestones - Kaiser Craft; Pop Dots
