Photo Frame Coasters

Hi everyone!

Today I have an easy peasy home decor project for you. I bought these beveled glass photo frame coasters at our local thrift store for $4.99. I had seen this cute project in the latest issue of Paper Crafts magazine and decided to use them to make my version of the project. I am going to enter them in the challenge over at Whimsical Wednesday. This week we are challenged to be inspired by words. Take a look at the photo. What word pops out to you first and what is the first thing you think of when you see that word?
So for the challenge this week create a card/project inspired by one of the words in the picture. Incorporate that word onto your card or project. I was inspired by all the words, so I incorporated 4 of them into my project.

The coasters have pockets in the back for you to insert your photos in. I simply cut some script pattern paper to fit the pockets. I attached some fall looking leaf stickers to each piece of paper. I printed out Faith, Hope, Love and Peace on card stock, inked around the edges, added a rhinestone and attached them to the script paper also. Then just popped them in the pockets of the coasters. So easy and now I have pretty fall coasters on my side table in the living room.
And the best part is I can just pop them out and change them to fit the season (I feel future posts coming, LOL).

I think they turned out pretty cute and took very little time! Just love when you find something at the thrift store that you can revamp and make into something special.

Supplies used: Coasters - thrift store; cardstock - cream; patterned paper - Script in Timeless by Kaiser Craft; ink - Amaretto by Powderpuffs; font - Engravers MT; rhinestones - Kaiser Craft; Leaf stickers - Martha Stewart

Esther, this is a GREAT idea! I love how they turned out with the script pattern paper and leaf added. So festive for the fall!! I really like the fact that you can change them out for each season.
It also makes such a wonderful gift and not too expensive either! Great find and wonderful to share the idea!

My word that jumped out to me was "Faith" It seems like all the others fall into place once you have faith. I LOVE the coasters! In fact, I'd like to order some from you if I can! Great job and a wonderful project.
