Vintage Groove Necklaces

I would like to preface this post with the obvious fact that I am not a professional photographer! I tried many different locations along with numerous backgrounds and could not seem to get pictures of these necklaces that made me happy. Please forgive me and I hope you can get some semblance of an idea what they really look like. Anyway, on to my post.

I made these necklaces as Mother's Day gifts for some special Mothers in my life! I am entering these into the challenge at Celebrate The Occasion in which the theme this week is Mother's Day and you are to create a card, layout or project for Mother's Day. I hope this qualifies as a project, although it is not paper crafting.

All of you paper crafters out there are very familiar with the company Making Memories. Well, Making Memories has a jewelry making line called Vintage Groove and they have all kinds of cute baubles, connectors, chains, clasps, etc. Most of these necklaces were made with pieces from the Vintage Groove line, although I did add some actual gemstones such as Amethyst chips, Agate nuggets and Amazonite stones. I had a blast making them and they were fairly easy! Great project for beginners at jewelry making.

Thanks for taking a peek and I always appreciate your comments! They mean a great deal to me!

Yeah i had been looking at my tomatoe net bags and onions bags for a while and started saving them thinking I might do something with them and it struck me today what that was gonna be. I have white red and yellow netting from them I have been stock piling. I love your necklaces and I just posted one that i finished up today. Victoria :)
