Off In Monterey

Hi all my bloggy friends!

I just wanted to let you all know that I am on vacation in Monterey with my family enjoying a week of R & R.  We are having a mini family reunion here, my brother and his kids, my sister and her kids, my Mom and Dad and my children and grandchildren. We had a gorgeous day today!!! My grandkids first experience at the beach.

Our first full day here was gorgeous! Couldn't have had a better day! Looking forward to more adventures tommorrow!

Anyhow I won't be posting any projects for the next week:( but luckily I have enough distractions that I shouldn't go into craft withdrawals.

Many Hats

I made this card for my nieces graduation from High School. Seems like yesterday she was just a baby!
As they say, time goes by to quickly.
I am entering this card in Cricut Cardz Challenge graduation cards using any cartridge and colors.

Today I have a card for you that I made to enter into two challenges. The Card Patterns challenge sketch #115 and Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge week # 17.

Supplies used: cardstock - white, two shades of pink, two shades of yellow; patterned paper - picnic, lazy summer stripe and die cut shapes all from Lazy Summer by Three Bugs In A Rug, Yellow swirls by Paper Pizzaz; stamp - Punnylicious by My Pink Stamper; ribbon, button, floss from my stash; pop dots.

Back to Basics Thank You

This weeks challenge over at Whimsical Wednesday is "back to basics." The challenge is to create a card/project that is cricutless. In addition to not using the cricut, we had to use some type of "old school" embellishment (sticker, rub-ons, chipboard, glitter...). I decided to go way back to basics. I pulled out my very first "Card Creations" magazine from 2003 and found a cute thank you card that definatly uses "old school" embellishments.

Pretty basic, but oh so cute!!!

Supplies used: cardstock - white, green, bright pink and 2 shades of orange; patterned paper - Sweetwater; rub on - mini thanks 3 by Making Memories; eyelets - Making memories; flower punch - Martha Stewart

Todays card I created for the Hambo Hoedown challenge. You are to use their digital image of the week. This week you are to use bold, bright colors and paper piercing.
