For my card I used T-Rex Dinosaur along with some Felties by Sassafras. I printed the sentiments using my computer.

Burning Love

My second post for today so I could sneak a card in for a challenge over at The Play Date Cafe!

The challenge is Frosty Beauty using this photo for inspiration:

For my card I used paper and stickers from the Fresh collection by Authentique for a non-traditional Valentines Day card.

I also used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches:

Supplies used: card stock - white, tangerine; patterned papers and stickers from Fresh collection by Authentique; heart punch - Fiskars; sewing machine; Pop Dots.

Warm Winter Birthday Wishes

Monday has rolled around again, the weekends just go by way to fast!!! I was able to get several cards done though, so that's always a good thing.

I'd like to share one of those cards today which was based on a design by Katie Sims. I'm going to enter it into this weeks challenge over at Papertake Weekly Challenge which is anything goes.


For my card I used a cut file from Silhouette Studio to cut the honeycomb background. I created the sentiment on my computer. I scored and folded the border using my Scor-Pal.

Supplies used: card stock - tan; patterned papers - Snowfall Dot, Snowfall Flakes and Midnight Frost Ice all in Snowfall by BoBunny; Silhouette Studio cut file; snowflake punch - EK Success; border punch - Fiskars; chalk ink in Jumbo Java by VersaMagic; ribbon - Michaels; Scor-Pal; fonts - your choice.

Dia De Reyes Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to El Dia de Reyes blog hop!!!

El Dia de Reyes (Three Kings Day) is also known as the Epiphany and is celebrated on January 6th which is a special day in Mexico. This holiday represents the height of the Christmas season. The date marks the culmination of the twelve days of Christmas and commemorates the three wise men who traveled from afar, bearing gifts for the infant baby Jesus. The children of Mexico in particular look forward to this holiday as traditionally, gifts are exchanged on this date, not on Christmas day.

Whimsical Design Team

I am so excited to announce that on January 16 the Whimsical Wednesday challenges will be starting back up!!

Every Wednesday we will have a new challenge posted for your inspiration. We will have one random winner of the prize for that week, and then a top three award.
