Cut It Up New Years Resolutions Challenge

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

I sure did. We had a lovely gathering at my eldest daughters house!
Lots of yummy food, fun games. good times :)

Now it's time to think about the new year ahead,
Do you have any New Years resolutions?

I have a few. Some of them involve my health and some of them involve crafting :)

Our challenge this week is New Years Resolutions. Create a project to include New Years Resolutions and don't forget the die cut!

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is Kitten Scraps and you have a chance to win a $20 certificate to their store.

One of my New Years resolutions is to get healthier. I am terrible about drinking water and I want to get better about it. I decided to up-cycle a water bottle to encourage me to drink more water.
I used a cut file from Silhouette Studio and a font to create a vinyl saying for my water bottle.

I cut some colored vinyl rectangles that I placed behind the time reminders.

Supplies Used: vinyl in white, blue, pink, green, yellow, purple; Silhouette Studio cut file; Abalone font; water bottle from Michaels

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!

Die Cuttin' Divas Holiday Challenge

I've been baking like crazy the last couple of days!

In my house, it's beginning to SMELL a lot like Christmas.

I've made fudge, mound balls, snowballs, and dipped gingersnaps. A couple more things to make and my Christmas baking will be done :)

Now, if I could just get my wrapping done.

Since it is Tuesday, we have a new challenge for you over at DCD's.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is Holiday.

.

I decided to use the papers and dies I received in my November Spellbinder card kit to create a Christmas card.

The kit came with all the dies to cut out the pieces of the reindeer, his Santa hat and his bow tie.

Supplies used: card stock - white, black, 3 shades of brown, red, and pink; patterned papers, dies, enamel dots, sentiment sticker all from Spellbinders.

Cut It Up World Hello Day Challenge

World Hello Day is a holiday that is celebrated by over 180 countries all over the world and has the purpose of not only making people aware of the need for better communication to sow the seeds of peace but to bridge the cultural barriers between the people of all nationalities.

The only real custom associated with World Hello Day is the practice of saying ‘hello’ to friends, families and strangers. People who want to celebrate this holiday should take the time to say hello to at least 10 people they encounter throughout the day – particularly strangers.

Our challenge this week is World Hello Day. Create a project to say Hello and don't forget the die cut!

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is A Day For Daisies and you have a chance to win a $20 certificate to their store.

Our sponsor was generous and allowed the team members to pick an image to use on their project.

I chose a darling image called Breeze In Spring
.

I used a stitched rectangle die cut to cut the background for my image.

I did a combination of coloring my image and printing it on patterned papers to fussy cut the clothing.

Supplies Used: card stock - white, teal; pattern papers by Recollections; image from A Day For Daisies; Hello stamp from my stash; Copic markers; Sequins

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!
