Die Cuttin' Divas - For The Boys Challenge

I hope everyone enjoyed their 3 day weekend!!!

Always goes by way to fast as far as I'm concerned,  already Tuesday so  it's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas!

This week our challenge is For The Boys (masculine card).

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is Digital Delights and the
prize is a $5 gift certificate!

I saw this new cut file by Snapdragon Snippets at the Silhouette Studio store, and I thought it would be a fun card to make for my brother for Fathers Day. I have a teenage neighbor down the street who collects Pop Can tops for bracelets. She graciously parted with a few so I didn't have to drink 8 sodas in a row to make this card, LOL!

The holes to sew the tabs on are already punched for you on the die! I just used some white DMC floss to attach them.

Supplies used: card stock - white, black, grey, shiny grey; patterned paper - Transportation by Tim Holtz for Ranger and Collectable in Favorite by Authentique; cut file - Silhouette Studio; pop can tabs; floss - DMC; brads - Making Memories.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

I made a little CAS card for a couple of challenges.

The first challenge is over at Casology.

For my card I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder called Winter Berries and matted it with black card stock and blue glitter paper. The sentiment stamp is from Unity.

Suplies used: card stock - white, black, blue glitter; embossing folder - Winter Berries by Tim Holtz for Sizzix; sentiment stamp from Frosty Mornings and Lots of Snow by Unity; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; Pop Dots.

Frosty Mornings

Hi everyone, this is my second post for today!

If you are looking for the new challenge at CTO. please scroll down.

I wanted to play in the sketch challenge this week over at Case This Sketch.

I experimented with doing my card in just black and white.

I used a stamp set from Unity and some tissue tape by Tim Holtz.

I thought it was such a pretty stamp that it didn't necessarily need coloring.

Supplies used: card stock - white, black; stamps - Frosty Morning and Lots of Snow by Unity; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memnto; Tissue Tape by Tim Holtz, rhinestones - Kaiser Craft; border punch - EK Success; Pop Dots.

Merry Christmas

Today I'd like to share a little CAS card I made for Case This Sketch.

I received my new "stamp of the week" from Unity last week and knew it would be just perfect for this sketch. It's called Entwined Poinsettia and it's so pretty.

I also used a new Tim Holtz textured fades embossing folder called Winter Berries.

The sketch for this week is:

I decided to make a white on white card with just a pop of red.

Supplies used: card stock - white, red; stamp - Entwined Poinsettias by Unity; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; Copic Markers; Yellow Stickles; Winter Berries embossing folder by Tim Holtz for Sizzix; brad - Jingle Brads by Imaginisce, Pop Dots.
