Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop

Welcome to the SVG Attic-SnapDragon Snippets Spring Has Sprung blog hop!
We are so excited to have you join us today!

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and Snapdragon Snippets. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

You should be arriving from Jodi's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

For the hop I created two Easter themed Lip Balm holders. They are both so cute and easy to put together. I also love that they stand up on their own!!!

They would make a great favor for your table; a cute gift for your child's teacher, a co-worker, or a friend!!

Die Cuttin' Divas St. Patricks Day Challenge

Well, I've been on vacation for a couple of weeks, but am happy to be back home.

I had a fabulous time in Hawaii enjoying the sunshine, surf, snorkeling, whale watching, sea turtles, mai tai's, mahi mahi, fresh papayas,  etc., etc.

Now its back to crafting among other things.

This week over at Die Cuttin' Divas our challenge theme is St. Patrick's Day. So get your green on and come and join us.

For my project I chose to make a card which is an EOS Lip Balm holder.

The design is lucky shamrock lip balm post card by Snapdragon Snippets - Design ID #75447

There is even a frame style triangle stand to attach to the back!

Supplies used: card stock - off white, two shades of green; patterned papers by Reminisce; ribbon - JoAnn's; EOS Lip Balm - Drug Store

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.
Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Die Cuttin' Divas Snowman Challenge

Hello everyone!

I pray that everyone back east is surviving the big storm. Out here in Reno we are wishing for rain as we haven't had any winter yet.

Since Tuesday has rolled around again, it's time for a new challenge from Die Cuttin' Divas!

This week our theme is Snowman.

I have been seeing lots of different, darling, lip balm holders on Pinterest. They look like so much fun and I have been wanting to try my hand at one. I was browsing through the Silhouette store and saw this super cute Yeti valentine and I thought it would make a really great lip balm holder if I altered it just a bit. And, after all, a Yeti is also called the abominable snow man, right?

I really just enlarged the cut file and added a circle cut to the two layers of his body for the lip balm to slip through.

Now to decide, who will be my lucky Valentine!!

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, black, blue pink; Silhouette Studio cut file; EOS Lip Balm.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!
