Die Cuttin' Divas Dragon Challenge

Well, I have been on vacation from my blog for a couple weeks, spending time with family and friends.

It's been a great couple weeks, but I'm glad to be back.

It's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas

This week our challenge is to use a Dragon.

.

For my card I dusted off my Cricut and pulled out the "Pagoda" cartridge to cut my dragon.

I cut my sentiment out of vinyl, with my Silhouette Cameo, using a font called Chinese Takeaway.

An Asian coin makes the perfect embellishment!

Supplies used: Card stock - white, red, and black; black vinyl; Pagoda cricut cartridge; embossing folder from Whimsy set by Lifestyle Crafts; Chinese coin.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

This week we have a sketch for you to play around with.

.

I turned the sketch 90° for my card. I used the Pagoda Cricut cartridge to cut out my fan and the Bamboo.

I created the sentiment on my computer with my Print Shop program, using the font "Chinese Takeaway".

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, red, brown, gold metallic; pattern paper from my stash; Pagoda Cricut cartridge; Print Shop program; Chinese Takeaway Font.
