Die Cuttin' Divas Favorite Color Challenge

Did you like to color when you were a child? Do you still like to color?

March 31st is national crayon day.

When I was a child I used to love to color, and when I got the big box of 64 crayons I thought I'd died and went to heaven. I hate to admit this, but I used to like my Barbie color books the best. I loved putting eye shadow, lipstick and blush on them with my color crayons.

Do you have a favorite color? Has it always been the same or has it changed since you were young?

Mine has always been, and will always be, red. Love it!

We are celebrating national crayon day with our challenge this week.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is favorite color!

.

I created a card for this weeks challenge using my favorite color red.
For my card I used stamps and dies by Simon Says Stamp and papers by Echo Park.

Here is what the card looks like when it is open.

Supplies used: card stock - white, red; stamps and dies by Simon Says Stamp; Stitched circle dies from Simon Says Stamp; brad from my stash, coffee bean enamel stickers from Doodlebug.

I would like to announce the winner of last weeks RAK surprise gift picked by Random.org:

It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge.

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Well we are into October already!

At my house it's time to put out the Halloween decor, and boy do I have a lot of it.
My granddaughter asked me if she could come and help me decorate, so her and I went to town. We had a lot of fun together and got a good portion of it done. A few minor things to still do indoors and then outdoor decor. Hubby has to help with that though.

It's challenge time again.

Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is a sketch.

.

I received a Halloween card kit in the mail from Simon Says Stamp and I used elements from it to create my card.

The cute little Boo Ghost is a die that came inside the kit, along with cute papers from Pebbles.

Supplies used: cardstock -white, orange, grey, black; pattern papers by Pebbles, Die from Simon Says Stamp.

Well, I don't know about you, but my summer got off to a great start this last weekend.

I got to spend two days of it having adventures like hiking and going to the pool with my grandchildren. So much fun to have them to spoil for a couple days :)

Since Tuesday has rolled around again, it is time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

I decided to use them to create a pretty card, along with some papers and stickers included in the same kit.

I also used the "you" out of an "I love you" die I had from Simon Says Stamp.

The two pictures are from two different light sources. Makes a big difference, doesn't it?

Supplies used: cardstock - white, navy, gold; patterned paper, stickers dove die and embroidery hoop die from Spellbinders May card kit; You die from Simon Says Stamp.

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

If wishes were fishes we'd all take a swim!

My husband always says that to me. I suppose he's right, I have lots of wishes so I'd be in a huge lake I think.

Anyway, this weeks sketch inspired me to make a fishy card.

This week our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas is a Sketch Challenge.

.

I have the cutest stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn called Fintastic Friends.
So many cute elements in this set besides the different fish. Coral, seaweed, sand castle, etc.
I had a lot of fun making my little scenes inside the cut out circles.

I also used a stitched hillside die by Lawn Fawn for the sand, and some stitched circle dies by Simon Says Stamp to cut out my circles on the card front.

Supplies used: card stock - white, blue;  Stamp set by Lawn Fawn; dies by Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp; Copic markers; Bubbles sprinkles epoxy stickers by Doddlebug; sequins.
