Scottie Christmas

I'm popping in for a second time today to share a card I created for the challenge over at Casology

This week the challenge is Plaid

For some reason when I think of plaid I often think of Christmas.

I decided to create a Christmas card using plaid paper, and with that I thought a Scottie dog would be cute.

I used a couple cut files from Silhouette Studio for the dog and the Christmas tree ornament.

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, black, red, green, metallic silver; patterned paper by Authentique; Silhouette Studio cut files; chipboard sentiment by Echo Park; border punch - Martha Stewart; ribbon - Michaels; Pop Dots

Hey Ghoulfriend

I saw the new sketch over at Case This Sketch, plus I had a brand new stamp set I was itching to try out, so I just had to play this afternoon.

Lawn Fawn has a brand new release that is all kinds of fun!! I think my favorite stamp set and dies is the Booyah set. I'm just loving the cute ghosts with all their different costumes. I decided to use the Bride of Frankenstein outfit for my ghost.

The sketch just seemed to lean to a little window for the ghost to be flying out of.

Supplies used: card stock - white, patterned paper - Polka in the Dark 6 X 6 pad by Lawn Fawn; Copic blending paper; stamps and dies - Booyah by Lawn Fawn; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Copic markers; sequins - my stash; Pop Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!

Die Cutin' Divas Inspired By A Decade Challenge

Lets take a trip back in time!!!

That's what we are asking you to do this week over at Die Cuttin' Divas. The challenge is "Inspired By A Decade".

Pick your favorite decade and come up with a creation inspired by that decade.

I chose the good  'ol 50's as my decade. I get a kick out of all the 50's advertising geared toward being the perfect housewife. I pulled out my Suburbia cartridge and my Cricut machine and came up with this birthday card.

I almost forgot, I used Life Is A Party cartridge to ad the birthday cake to the tray she is holding.

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, green, black; Patterned Papers were scraps from my stash; enamel dots by Doodlebug; Suburbia and Life Is A Party Cricut cartridges; Pop Dots

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!
