Same Card - Two Versions

Well, we're off to a new week with all kinds of new possibilities!!

Hope yours is a great one!

Today I am sharing two cards that are the exactly the same, except for my choice of colors. I loved the design of this card that I saw on Pinterest and I wanted to see if I could make both a masculine and a feminine version by changing my color palette. Do you think I succeeded?

For my feminine version I chose a white card stock base with a soft color combo of pink and green.

And for my masculine version I went with a kraft card stock base and a bright color combo of red and blue.

Supplies used: card stock - white, kraft; patterned papers - Jillibean Soup; stamp - my stash; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; border punches - EK Success and Fiskars; twine - my Stash; Pop Dots

BOO!

Stopping by to share  two very different Halloween cards, but both inspired by the word BOO!

The first card was inspired by a cute creation by Karolyn Loncon. I cut the ghosts and my sentiment from my Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge.

I love the way the ghosts are layered on either side of the orange card stock.

Supplies used: card stock - orange, black; patterned paper - Charlotte A. Weaver in Boo! by American Crafts; embossing folder - James' set by Cuttlebug; Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge; spider stickers - JoLee's; Pop Dots

For my second card I cased a creation by Angie. I liked her simple use of Washi tape and labels.
I had these cute, tiny brads by Making Memories and I attached one through the holes of my button for a fun little accent.

Supplies used:  card stock - recycled white; patterned papers from Elegant Witch Mat Pad by Martha Stewart; Silhouette Studio cut files; scalloped oval and oval punches by Stampin' Up; Washi tape - Haunted Paper Tape by Martha Stewart; stamp from Heebie Jeebies by We R Memory Keepers; ink - Jet Black Archival; twine - American Crafts; button - my stash; brad - Making Memories; Pop Dots.

Enjoy your weekend!!

School Is Cool!

This is my second post today.

My friend Yolie sent me a super fun 6 X 6 paper pad called Hallpass by We R memory Keepers.
I just had to put it to use. I pulled out a cool "itty bitty" stamp set by Unity called Apple Of My Eye, my Rich Cocoa ink pad by Memento, a few Sugardot stickers and I was ready to start creating.
