Let's Ketchup

At first I wasn't going to post this card, because I wasn't happy with the way it turned out. I was trying to make it look like splattered ketchup and I ended up with a freakin' bear claw on the right, LOL.

Then I decided that we all have imperfections and what the heck, I'd put it out there anyway.

It is for day #5 of the Itty Bitty A Day challenge going on at the Unity Show & Tell page on Facebook.

I used the Let's Ketchup Itty Bitty.

Supplies used: card stock - recycled white, red; patterned paper - Picnic Table in What's Cooking by Flair; border punch - Martha Stewart; stamp - Let's Ketchup by Unity; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; Copic markers, paint - red by Pebbles; Painty Pen in Copper by Zig; Pop Dots

Just Because

I have a little tag to share today, that I made for the Itty Bitty A Day challenge going on over at the Unity Show and Tell page on Facebook.

There have been so many beautiful creations by everyone in the group using Itty Bitty stamps by Unity.

For my little tag I used two Itty Bitty sets, "Sweet Owl Just Because" for the sentiment and "Best Things Just Happen" for the pretty flower.

I stamped the flower on a vintage dictionary page and colored it with my Copics. I also stamped it on blending paper so I could color and fussy cut out the flower only. I then attached it with a Pop Dot for dimension.

Supplies used: tag - Staples Office Supply; card stock - kraft, vanilla; vintage dictionary page - Thrift Store; border punch - Fiskars; stamps - Unity; Copic markers; ink - Rich Cocoa by Memento;  ribbon - 3 Girl Jam; twine - Liz's Paper Loft Boutique; button - my stash

Today I Will Be Happier......

This is my second post for today.

I saw this technique on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try. I love the way the stamped image looks behind the tulle.

I used a darling Itty Bitty stamp set by Unity called Bird With A French Fry. I colored it with my Copic markers and used a little Dazzle glitter glue in the middle of the flowers. Used a circle punch on the patterned paper and glued the tulle on the back of it. I stamped the sentiment on the patterned paper also and added a few sequins for fun.

Supplies used: card stock - recycled white, red; patterned paper - White Bread in PB&J by Basic Grey; stamps - Bird With A French Fry by Unity; ink - Rich Cocoa by Memento; Dazzle glitter glue by Hero Arts; tulle - my stash; sequins - Martha Stewart; Pop Dots

Whimsical Designs "Going Buggy" Challenge

This week over at Whimsical Designs we are "Going Buggy"!

I think I have been "Going Buggy" for a long time, LOL! My family would probable attest to that fact.  Anyway, that is the challenge this week. We'd like you to create a card or project and include an insect OR animal.

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is QKR Stampede, and if you join in the fun you'll have a chance to win 5 digis of your choice!!!

For my card I inked up an "itty bitty" stamp by Unity. I went for a CAS look and just matted it with some black and gold paper. I added a little photo corner behind the matted image for some interest. Then I inked up two of Stephanie's sentiment stamps from her fabulous collection. On the "fluttering by" stamp I did a little masking so I could remove the word "hi". This stamp is from her Whimsical Fun Vol 1. The "Let's Celebrate" is from her Everyday Sentiments.

A nice little CAS card to Celebrate a birthday or almost any occasion.

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, black, gold; stamps - Everyday Sentiments and Whimsical Fun Vol 1 by Whimsical Designs, All Hail The Queen Bee by Unity; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento and Gold by ColorBox; photo corner punch - EK Success; rhinestone - BoBunny; Pop Dots.

The design team has some fun inspiration to share with you so please pop on over to Whimsical Designs to check them out and leave a little love for everyone!
