I made a fun countdown calender for my grandkids today. I saw one similar as I was browsing through Pinterest (my second favorite addiction). I cut the Santa out on my Silhouette and the poem is on cardstock that I cut out with Elegant Edges on my Cricut.

You simply add a cotton ball for each day in December until Christmas and you will fill in Santa's Beard! I put one on to get him started.

Here is a close up of the poem:

Supplies used: cardstock - two different greens, red, black, cream, white and white glitter; patterned paper - Snowfall from Tinsel & Twig by The Girls Paperie; rhinestones - Glitz; font - Santa's Sleigh; border punch - EK Success; Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge, Silhouette Studio file; cotton balls.

I will have a blog prize at the end of this 12 Days of Christmas blog hop. All you have to do to be entered in the drawing is to be a follower and to leave a comment. If you leave a comment on each day you will be entered in the drawing one time for each comment, so you can have up to 12 entries in the drawing.

For today I have a darling shirt you can make for any little girl. I saw a t-shirt like this on Pinterest. This is all you need:

For this shirt I bought a little red long sleeve t-shirt at Walmart for $3.88. I simply cut several strips of ribbon in graduating sizes. I looped a piece of brown ribbon and sewed it on to the shirt for the tree trunk. The other pieces I glued on with fabric glue. For the top of the tree I tied the piece into a bow. Viola a cute Christmas top for next to nothing!!

And here is my sweet little granddaughter wearing her shirt.

Supplies used: T-shirt, Fabri-Tac - Walmart; ribbon - my stash

If you leave a comment on each day you will be entered in the drawing one time for each comment, so you can have up to 12 entries in the drawing.

Today I have another Christmas decor item. I really love these light boxes and I think they are so festive! Really, they are so simple to make and they look fantastic!
For this light box I cut out the image in vinyl with the "A Childs First Year" Cricut cartridge. I used the "fit to length" feature set at 6 1/2". The sentiment is from the same cartridge.

I inserted some battery operated mini lights. I tied 12 6" lengths of Christmas ribbon together, then fanned them out, wrapped some wire ribbon around the light box and tied the ribbon bunch to the top. I did a little trimming until I liked how they looked and inserted a floral pick on top.

I'm happy with the result.

Supplies used: Glass Light Block - Michael's; LED battery operated 30 mini lights string - Walmart; Coarse Brushed Cherry Red Vinyl - Oh My Crafts; ribbon, floral pick - Michael"s; A Childs First Year Cricut cartridge.

I will have a blog prize at the end of this 12 Days of Christmas blog hop. All you have to do to be entered in the drawing is to be a follower and to leave a comment. I chose a super inexpensive and easy project for you today. It would make a wonderful hostess gift to take to a Christmas party!

This is all you need, some 4X4 tiles (I picked up a package of 9 at Home Depot for only $3.97); cork sheets, Modge Podge, cocktail napkins and glue (I used E6000).

Cut your napkin down to fit the top of the tile. Gently seperate the layers so you only have one thin layer of the napkin. Apply a thin layer of modge podge to the front of the tile, lay the napkin on the tile and smooth out the wrinkles. Apply three coats of Modge Podge to the top, letting it dry after each coat. Cut your piece of cork to fit the bottom and glue on.
Pretty cute drink coasters, aren't they?

Tie them up with a pretty ribbon and you have a darling gift!

Supplies used: tiles - Home Depot; napkins - Target; Modge Podge, cork - Michaels.

I will have a blog prize at the end of this 12 Days of Christmas blog hop. All you have to do to be entered in the drawing is to be a follower and to leave a comment. For todays project I wanted to share a fun and easy home decor item you can make. It would make a great gift as well. I bought a three pack of shadow boxes at Michael's and several sizes of jingle bells. I simply attached some Christmas scrapbook paper to the back of the box and poured a bunch of different jingle bells inside. The words were cut with the Cuttin' Up Cricut cartridge, the jingle bell was cut with Joys of the season and the bow was cut with Christmas Cheer out of vinyl and attached to the front of the glass. To finish it off I tied some pretty Christmas ribbon around the box.

I think I may have to keep one for myself!

Supplies used: shadow boxes - Michael's; patterned papers - Like A Light Bulb and Boughs of Holly from Christmas by American Crafts, "Awe" in the Wonder collection by Authentique; jingle bells and ribbon - Michael's; vinyl - Coarse Brushed Cherry Red; Cricut Cartridges - Cuttin' Up; Joys of the Season and Christmas Cheer.
