Well I have been running hard and carrying my purple torch high for the last month, but alas (sniff, sniff) I must pass my torch to a new runner.
I am very excited to let you know that I am handing off my purple torch to Jessica of Chick-N-Scrap! She is super creative and I have enjoyed perusing her blog for some time now. Although I am sad to see my leg of the race come to an end, I couldn't be happier to put the purple torch in Jessica's hands!!!
I can't wait to see what Jessica will do with all the fun digital elements over at Amber Ink
Please hop over to Amber Inklings and give Jessica, and all the new torch bearers, a very warm welcome!!
GO, Jessica, GO!!!!!!!!!

Spooky and Boo Decor
This is my second post for today.
I had my carpets cleaned today, so I holed up in my craft room while the carpet cleaners went to work. Oh Darn!!!! I had fun making a couple of Halloween Home Decor items. I'd like to share them with you. I used some Rhonna Farrer digital elements to make both of them and added embellishemnts to kick them up a notch.
The first was made with a digital image from Spooky Junque Borders.
Supplies used: patterned paper - Foundations Bi Fold Solid paper by Authentique; digital image from Spooky Junque Borders by Rhonna Farrer; frame - Walmart; brads, metal charms, metal alphabet - Making Memories; Spiderweb cut at 2" from Chic & Scary Cricut cartridge<; rhinestomes - Kaiser Craft and Kandi Kane; twine and flowers - my stash.
The second was made with a digital image from Spooky Junque Brushes.
Supplies used: patterned paper - Foundations Bi Fold Solid and Lustrous by Authentique; Noteables from Glowing Collection by Authentique; Mini Paper Rosettes die cut by Tim Holtz for Sizzix; rhinestones - Kandi Kane; digital image from Spooky Junque Brushes by Rhonna Farrer.
