I am so excited to share with you that I was chosen to be a guest designer for Card Patterns sketch challenge this week! Can I tell you how much fun I had creating this card!
Since it is so close to Mother's Day I decided to use this weeks sketch to make a Mother's Day card.
I had these really cute chipboard buttons from Jenni Bowlin that I wanted to use, so I drew on them as my inspiration for the card. I did a little distressing, a little inking, a little sewing and came up with a vintage looking card.
Here is this weeks sketch:
Supplies used: cardstock - blue; patterned paper - rose bouquet and granny's quilt from kitch by the girls' paperie, bitty dot basics by Papertrey Inc.; Floral Fantasy embossing folder by Prove Craft; ribbon, floss, button - my stash; bakers twine - Papertrey Inc.; letter and word stickers - kitch and vintage whimsy by the girls' paperie; chipboard buttons - reader by Jenni Bowlin; sewing machine.
I want to thank the gals at Card Patterns for giving me this wonderful opportunity!
Thanks for looking and as always I appreciate, from the bottom of my heart, your comments!
