Dad

I really had fun this weekend coming up with some cards for a few of my favorite challenges!

This card is for two challenges.

Over at Less Is More

This week our theme is one for the chaps!
SO we'd like to see a
MASCULINE
card.
Any aged chap will do as long as the card is for the male gender!

And over at The Paper Players

For my card I did a little splattering with some Faded Jeans Distress Stain. My stars are a cut file from Silhouette Studio and my sentiment is a die from Lil Inker Designs.

Supplies used: card stock - white, blue, shiny gold, black; patterned paper - Navy Salt in Soup Staples by Jillibean Soup; die - Lil Inker Designs; Silhouette Studio cut file; ink - Faded Jeans Distress Stain by Tim Holtz for Ranger; Pop Dots

Same Card - Two Versions

Well, we're off to a new week with all kinds of new possibilities!!

Hope yours is a great one!

Today I am sharing two cards that are the exactly the same, except for my choice of colors. I loved the design of this card that I saw on Pinterest and I wanted to see if I could make both a masculine and a feminine version by changing my color palette. Do you think I succeeded?

For my feminine version I chose a white card stock base with a soft color combo of pink and green.

And for my masculine version I went with a kraft card stock base and a bright color combo of red and blue.

Supplies used: card stock - white, kraft; patterned papers - Jillibean Soup; stamp - my stash; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; border punches - EK Success and Fiskars; twine - my Stash; Pop Dots

Sup?

I had so much fun making this card. I used some super fun stamps sets from Paper Smooches!
Just love her fun and whimsical stamps!!!

I'd like to enter it into the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge this week, which is "anything goes".

For my card I used 4 Paper Smooches stamp sets: Forest Whimsey, He Said She Said, Green Thumb and Slang Gang.
I did a lot of stamping and paper piecing, but I think it makes for a really fun, whimsical card. I love all the bright papers by Jillibean.

Isn't the garden gnome just so cute? Lovin' the fun sentiments in Slang Gang. Green Thumb has all kinds of fun garden stuff including those adorable veggies and He Said She Said has all the perfect speech bubbles.
