Cut It Up Picnic Challenge

We had been enjoying some lovely weather last week, but the last couple of days it seems like winter has returned!

We are back to cold, rain, and snow :(

It sure has been a strange year for weather around here.

Regardless of the weather we have a new challenge for you over at Cut It Up.

Our challenge is Picnic, create a picnic themed project and don't forget the die cut!

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is A Day For Daisies and you have a chance to win $8 to their store.

I created a silverware and napkin pocket using a cut file from Silhouette Studio and decorated it with an image from A Day For Daisies called Home Lunch which you can purchase here.

I thought it would be a cute addition to a picnic lunch!

Supplies Used: cardstock - white; patterned paper by Stampin' Up; cut files from Silhouette Studio; digital image from A Day For Daisies; Copic markers .

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Do you have special plans this weekend for Mother's Day?

I'm going camping, in my new motorhome, with my grandkids!

It will be their first trip with us and we are looking forward to having campfires, s'mores, hiking, etc. I'm going shopping tomorrow to stalk the cupboards and fridge with their favorite foods and drinks.
Gonna be a great weekend :)

Now on to our challenge for this week.
Our challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas this week is a sketch.

.

I used some new stamps and dies I just received from MFT to create my take on the sketch.

I also used some stitched circle dies by Simon Says Stamp.

Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, orange, green; patterned paper by Authentique; stamps and dies by My Favorite Things and Simon Says Stamp; enamel dots by Echo Park; Copic markers.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Cut It Up Mother's Day Challenge

Mom's day is a little over a week away.

Do you have a special card fof your Mom?

If not, than maybe we can get you motivated with our challenge for this week.

Our challenge this week is Mother's Day, share a project for Mom and don't forget the die cut!

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is Lawn Fawn and you have a chance to win $25 to their store.

I made a pretty shaped card with tulips for my creation. This card would be a nice card for almost any occasion. It is a cut file from the Silhouette Design store by Lori Whitlock.

The sentiment is also a cut file from the Silhouette store and I cut it out of vinyl.

I know I've said this before, but vinyl cuts small lettering beautifully and applies to your cardstock very easily.

Supplies Used: cardstock - vanilla, green, 2 shades of pink; matte vinyl in 2 shades of pink; cut files from Silhouette Studio; enamel dot from Echo Park.

I can't wait to see your creation so pop on over to the Cut It Up blog and join us in the fun!
