Hope everyone is having a great start to their week and enjoyed their weekend.
Today I would like to share with you a banner I made for my mantel.
Really pretty easy peasy!
I took 3 sheets of 12 X 12 patterned paper and 3 sheets of pink cardstock and cut them all in 2" strips. I left 2 of each pattern and 2 of each color 12", took 2 of each pattern and color and cut the strips to 10" and 2 of each pattern and color and cut the strips to 8".
I took a border punch and punched each side lengthwise. I then scored the middle of each strip.
I took one strip of each length and put them one on top of the other, smallest to largest and staple them about 1/2" from the fold. Then fold each strip down until they all meet and staple again.
I attached the hearts to one another with tacky tape, alternating patterned paper with cardstock. Finished off the ends by hole punching and attaching a ribbon to hang it with.
I'm happy with the results :)
Supplies used: cardstock - 3 shades of pink; patterned papers - Butterfly kisses, Pucker up and Sweet Nothings from Kissing Booth by Basic Grey; border punch - Martha Stewart; Tacky Tape; stapler and pink staples - Making Memories; ribbon - Michaels
