Birthday Cards

Happy Friday everyone!!!!!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend planned.

I'm just popping in today to share a couple of birthday cards I made. Really fairly simple and both turned out kinda cute.

The first card I simply used a Silhouette Studio cut file to cut out the Happy Birthday and then used Pop Dots to raise it up with a cute pattern paper underneath.

I happened to have some ribbon on hand that matched perfectly and added a little birthday hat charm for fun.

Supplies used: card stock - white; patterned paper - Carol Wilson Fine Arts; ribbon - Michaels; charm - Making Memories; Silhouette Studio cut file; Pop Dots

I saw the inspiration for my second card on Pinterest. I thought it was so fun and just had to make my own version. Again, I used Silhouette Studio cut files.

The pom for the hat I made with some bakers twine. Simply wrapped it around my fingers quite a few times, tied it together in the middle, cut the looped edges, fluffed it out and glued it to the top of my party hat.

Supplies used: card stock - white, black; patterned papers - Father and Big Guy in Family Man by Echo Park and Awesome Dots in Little Boy by Echo Park; sentiment rub on - Kelly Panacci for SandyLion; Silhouette Studio cut files; twine - my stash.
