Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service.
This week over at Celebrate The Occasion we are asking you to create a project for Memorial Day. The design team has some wonderful inspiration for you, so click on over to the blog and check it out.
To create my card I used the Hero Panels stamp set and some papers by Reminisce, along with this sketch from Operation Write Home. I will be donating this card to Operation Write Home.
Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, red; patterned papers - American Stripe and Party In The USA in Party In The USA collection by Reminisce, Charles Thompson in Let Freedom Ring by Pebbles; sticker - Est. 1776 by Reminisce; stamp - Hero Panels set by Stampers Best; ink - Faded jeans Distress Ink by Tim Holts for Ranger; star punch - EK Success; Pop Dots.
