I saw this lovely card in one of my magazines and just had to make my version of it!! I want to enter it into this weeks challenge over at Addicted to CAS.
I am also joining the "Mother's Day" challenge at 2 Creative Chicks!
I cut the beautiful hydrangea out with my Walk In My Garden Cricut cartridge and then I ran it through my Big Shot with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. Oops, I almost forgot to say that I inked up the edges before running it through the Big Shot. Then I just tied a little bow around the stem. I think it makes a lovely Mother's Day card.
Supplies used: card stock - vanilla, 2 shades of purple, green; patterned paper - Hello Spring by Echo Park; Walk In My Garden Cricut cartridge; stamp - GCS Art Stamps; ink Crushed Olive Distress Ink by Tim Holtz for Ranger, Lovely Lilac by Stampin' Up; Swiss Dots embossing folder by Sizzix; ribbon - my stash; rhinestones - BoBunny; Pop Dots
Beautiful card. Would love to have you link it up over at 2 Creative Chicks Mother's Day Challenge.

ReplyDeleteWOW -so pretty! And hydrangeas happen to be my favorite flowers - I just love their color and shape! I've been to the Azores where these flowers grow everywhere, it's such a pretty sight. In Norway we've got the dandelions instead... It's a beautiful card!
