Yay it's Friday!
Only two more days until the next episode of Downton Abbey!!!!
I'm so totally addicted to this show, are you a fan also?
Anyway, today I have a card I created for two challenges.
I am participating in Mojo Monday.
And also in The Paper Players.
I have to say I really struggled with this card. I started out stamping my pretty image and coloring it with copics. I then cut it out as an oval and matted it with the black scalloped oval that is on the card. Didn't like it. Then I fussy cut it and put it in the middle of the oval. Didn't like it. Finally settled on putting the sentiment in the oval and using my fussy cut image as a partial frame for the oval. Decided I could live with that. Don't know why I had such a hard time with this card, and I'm still not thrilled, but here it is:
Supplies used: card stock - cream, black; patterned papers - script from Timeless by Kaiser Craft, Noir Floral Butterfly in Paper Reverie by Making memories and a scrap by Graphic 45; Silhouette Studio cut files; stamps - Bundle of Care by Unity; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; Copic markers; ribbon - Michaels; rhinestones - BoBunny; netting; sewing machine; edge distressor - Heide Swapp.
Beautiful-in all ways !! The sentiment, the colors and the embellishments all combine to make this an extra special card. Excellent Job !!
