I'm looking forward to this weekend, tomorrow is my Grandsons 5th birthday and sure to be a fun time at his "Mario" birthday party.
In honor of his birthday tomorrow I thought I would share the invitations I made for him. My daughter found this great tutorial on how to create a double slider card, you can watch it here.
I used this technique to create my "1 Up" invitations.
I found the graphic for the mushroom on-line.
If you've played Mario you know that when he bumps the question mark boxes with his head a mushroom pops out, and that is what I was going for with this invitation.
When you pull down on the invitation you get the wording on the bottom and the mushroom pokes out the top.
I did have address and phone info, but removed them for this pic.
Supplies used: card stock - white, grey, 2 shades of yellow; Mario mushroom image taken off the internet; font - your choice; plastic bag.
how cute, happy Birthday to your son, I'm sure he will have a great day!!!
