Thanksgiving Subway Art / Pins To Creations Fall Blog Hop
Welcome to the Pins To Creations Fall / Thanksgiving Blog Hop!!
If you've arrived from Ashley's blog The Glamorous Side of Scrapping you are in the right place, if not please start at the beginning at Pins To Creations so you don't miss a thing!
I don't know about you, but I have been pinning quite a few fall/Thanksgiving projects on my board. There are so many cute things out there that I want to give a try!!
Subway art is very popular right now and I saw this Fall themed subway art on Pinterest:
It's from the blog Betty Crocker Wannabe and there is a printable for the above subway art if you'd like to copy it.
This pretty framed art inspired me to create one of my own. For mine, I started with a print and cut file from Silhouette Studio.
I printed the subway art on cream card stock and inserted it in a frame that I had purchased at JoAnn's. I cut the pumpkins, acorns, and leaves out from patterned paper and attached them on top of the printed version with Pop Dots.
I then enlarged those same pieces and cut them out again to attach to the bottom of my frame.
I layered the different cuts, gluing some directly onto the frame and attaching others with different size Pop Dots.
It was really fairly simple and I'm happy with the finished product!!
Supplies used: card stock - cream; patterned papers - Pioneer and Giving in Thankful by Authentique, Apple Cider Stripe in Apple Cider by BoBunny; Silhouette Studio print & cut file; frame - JoAnn's; Pop Dots.
