It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge over at Celebrate The Occasion!
You know what they say, an apple a day keeps the doctor away!! This week our theme is An Apple A Day - you must use an apple in your project. The design team has some darling apple creations to share with you, so pop on by and see what they've come up with!
For my card I used a digital image from our sponsor for this month - Floppy Latte Designs. The prize is a $10 credit to their store, so link up your project for a chance to win!!!
The image I used is School Days. I liked the way the image already had the apple shaded and decided to keep it black and white rather than color it. For the sentiment label I used The Stamps of Life - labels4cutting and the coordinating die by Sizzix - Framelits Die Fancy Labels #4.
Supplies used: card stock - green, cream; patterned paper by Creative Imaginations; digital image - Floppy Latte Designs; stamp - labels4cutting by The Stamps of Life; die- Framelits Labels Fancy #4 by Sizzix; ink -Tuxedo Black by Memento; ribbon - Michaels; ruler transparency - Junkitz; button - my stash; twine - Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.
Esther ~ Well I think not coloring this image was a BRILLIANT idea! I LOVE it in black and white! You are totally right about the shading that this image has! Well I love the colors for this card! That green card stock ~ LOVE green! Well you also used my FAVORITE ribbon ~ gingham! The little charm is too cute! Did you draw the ruler?? If so LOVE that idea too! Awesome card!!!
