This is a two-day blog hop. So, please be sure to stop by both days to see all the amazing projects.

Todays project is a card I made for my sister for Mother's Day. She is a quilter and makes the most beautiful quilts, so I tried to reflect that in her card. Her favorite color is purple, so I chose purple papers. :

It was pretty easy, although a bit time consuming when it came to the sewing. I simply punched squares out of patterned paper, attached them to a piece of cardstock and then sewed an "X" across each square. I added some lace, a heart button tied with twine and my sentiment, then attached the finished piece to my card base.

Supplies used: cardstock - two shades of purple; patterned papers were scraps from my stash; lace - Jo Ann's; button and twine - my stash; label - Silhouette Studio cut file.

I have som blog candy:

All you have to do to qualify for the drawing for my blog candy is to be a follower and leave a comment on this post. If you leave a comment on both days of the hop you will have two chances to win!!

Now hop on over to Shawnee
