I am so happy to be part of the Link Up For Pink design team!!! Our mission is to help raise awareness about breast cancer. We want to remind all the ladies how important it is to get your mammograms!! Early detection is the key.
We'd like to invite you to participate in Challenge #2 over at our blog. You can create anything you wish as long as it has some pink and has breast cancer awareness as the theme. The design team has come up with some fabulous inspiration for you, so please stop by and check it out.
Our sponsor for this challenge is A Day For Daisies and we'd like to shout out a big thank you to them!!!
I hope you will stop by their shop and take a look around, they have the most wonderful digital images to create with!! The Prize: for the challenge is a $12 voucher to their store. A random winner will be announced on Friday, 6/8.
For my projects I used their digital image - Girl Power. I also used digital paper designed by Yolie which you can get free from LUFP !
For my first project I made a card:
Supplies used : cardstock - white, pink; patterned papers - Bitty Dot Basics by Papertrey Inc., striped paper - SEI; digital paper by Yolie - LUFP; Copic Markers; border punch - Fiskars; fornt - LD Kazaam; Labels Eight Nestabilities by Spellbinder; Precision Pen by American Crafts; rhinestones - Kaiser Craft; digital image - Girl Power by A Day For Daisies; Pop Dots.
For my second project I made a necklace. After I had colored and cut out my Girl Power image I scanned it before attaching it to my card. I saved it as a JPG, resized it and printed it. Then I cut it to fit my pendant. I also made a dangle with some Swarovski crystals, silver findings and a silver ribbon charm.
Supplies used - Sterling Plated Pendant from Jill MacKay collection; digital image - Girl power by A Day For Daisies; necklace chain by Lost and Found; crystals, findings, ribbon charm - my stash.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my projects! Now hop on over to Link Up For Pink!!
