Hi everyone and happy Tuesday.
We have a new challenge for you over at Celebrate The Occasion. This week anything goes, use polka dots.
I made a Valentine's Day decor item.
The frame was a very inexpensive one from Wlamart, which I sanded and painted red, then sanded again for a distressed look. I printed the sheet music on cream cardstock. I cut the Love, banner, the two smaller flowers and the letters out with my Silhouette, The large flower was made with an EK Success punch.
Supplies used: frame - Walmart; sandpaper - Home Depot; acrylic paint - Folk Art Deep Tomato Red by Plaid; cardstock - cream, glitter black, black; Modge Podge; "All You Need Is Love" sheet music digital download - Musicnotes.com; patterned papers from Je t'adore by Making Memories and Be Mine by Echo Park; border punches - Martha Stewart and EK Success; flower punch - EK Success; cut files - Silhouette Studio; twine - Papertrey Inc.; ribbon - Michaels.
Come on over to CTO's blog and check out the other great projects by the design team and link up your polka dot project!!!
