I have a card to share today that I made with some more of the wonderful digital images you can find at Amber Ink. I did a lot of paper piecing on this and also combined two different digital stamps. The original owl image is holding a heart and I wanted it to hold a pumpkin for Halloween.
I printed the owl four times all together. Once on white cardstock for his eyes and feet, twice on the brown patterned paper so that I could have an extra wing to cut out and place over the original using pop dots to make it 3D, and once on the yellow grid paper for placement. As the feet were printed on white paper, colored and cut out I could place the branch over his original feet and place his colored feet over them to make it look like he is on the branch. The pumpkin was printed on the yellow grid and also on white, colored, cut out and placed over the heart on the original owl, then I added the extra wing over the top of the original. I think it turned out pretty cute.
Inside of card:
Supplies used: cardstock - 2 shades of brown, yellow; patterned paper - Autumn Cider, Autumn Hollow, Autumn Gathering, October Night all in Night Fall by American Crafts; Labels One Nestabilities by Spellbinder; ribbon, twine, button - my stash; Copic Markers; digital stamps - Happy Pumpkin and Owl Heart by Amber Ink; digital sentiment - Kiddos Hey Lo Ween Sayings by Amber Ink; Pop Dots
"Wow" is all I can say for this card. Everything about it is unique. Wonderful and fun. Great Job !
