Yesterday my niece and I took my sister shopping for a dress to wear to her high school reunion. We had a ball and got her all dolled up for the coming event. New dress, new shoes, and jewelry to match!
She's going to knock their socks off at the reunion!!! We topped the day off by going to see a chick flick, Bidesmaids, which was hilarious!
My sisters birthday was the 21st and I made this card for her. I am entering it in a challenge at Whimsical Wednesday.
This week the challenge was to use a color inspiration photo:
You can create any card/project that you would like, but you must include Yellow and Red, and then you can chose any other color/colors from the photo.
Supplies used: cardstock-yellow,red; patterned paper - Bloomers from Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket; font - Freebooter script and Times; felt flowers - American Crafts; 1 3/4" circle punch - EK Success; button and twine - my stash.
Very nice card in all ways. The sentiment, the colors, the layout and the embellishments are well done. Great card to give and receive.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous.. Just wow.. Perfect inspiration drawn from the pic...
ReplyDeleteHi Esther, I just adore this card. The patterned paper is so pretty & how you mounted it on foam to stand out to surround the lovely sentiment makes this card unique. Love the stacked flower too.
