I saw a bird house similar to this in my recent Handmade magazine and thought it would be so fun to make! I found the wooden bird house at JoAnn's in the dollar bin. I white washed it with some really watered down paint. I cut the large flowers and leaves with my Accent Essentials and Walk In My Garden Cricut cartridges, cutting several of each flower, clipping some petals and layering them. The small blue flower was a spiral cut flower.
I am entering it in two challenges Whimsical Wednesday- make a spring home decor item, and My Sheri Crafts-Mother's Day project.
Supplies used: Wooden bird house - JoAnn's; patterned papers from Stella & Rose by My Minds Eye; Accent Essentials and Walk in my Garden Cricut cartridges, glue gun.
Oh My !! The birdhouse is so charming ! You found the house at an incredible bargain and then added the perfect embellishments. Wonderful results for your efforts and creativity.
ReplyDeleteEsther, you craftiness amazes me. Seriously! I don't think I could make this if I tried.
