It's a long way away, but today I have two Christmas and one Thanksgiving card. Doesn't hurt to be ahead of the game. If you made two Christmas cards a month you'd have 24 cards by December!
First card Is Emmanuel. I love the font used to make the elegant E in Emmanuel. There are some beautiful fonts out there. The font you choose can really make a difference in the feeling your card projects.
Card is 7 X 5
Supplies used: cardstock - grey, grey shimmer and burgundy; patterned paper - Alpine Frost by SEI; ribbon - Michael's - rhinestones - Kaiser Craft; fonts - Bickham Script, Engravers, and Indy 17; 3" and 3 1/4" circles cut with George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge.
The second card today is Classy Season's Greetings. This card is a gorgeous Christmas card without using any Christmas paper or embellishments.
Card is 4 x 7 1/4
Supplies used: cardstock - white and red; stamps - floral/dingbat foam stamps by Making Memories and Happy Holidays stamp strip from Michael's; rhinestones - Kaiser Craft; border punch - Martha Stweart
Last for today I chose Happy Thanksgiving and changed it up just a bit.
Card is 41/4 X 5 1/2
Supplies used: cardstock - cream and burgundy; patterned paper is a scrap from my stash; die cut leaves - fall leaf stickers by Martha Stewart; circles cut at 1 3/4" and 2" with George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge; rub on - Whooly Cow by basic Grey; rhinestones - Kaiser Craft; Dazzle clear glitter glue by Hero Arts; ribbon - Michael's.
Have a terrific Tuesday!
Beautiful Cards ! They ALL have such an elegant look to them. I love the special paper you used on the Thanksgiving card. The changes that you have made to the samples you were inspired by make the cards more colorful, also. Very good choices . Card On !
ReplyDeleteI liked the background you chose on the Emmanuel Christmas card much better. I also really liked the Thanksgiving card. The "falling" sentiment is so fun! Fantastic job!
