Just Born

Hi Everyone! Today I am posting a layout I made yesterday for Celebrate The Occasion challenege #5. This week's theme is "New Arrival". These are some pics of my granddaughter just moments after she was born.

The circles were cut with George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge. The large circle was cut at 8" and the smaller circles were cut at 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" The word "just" was cut at 3" with the Just Because Cards Cricut cartridge.

The stork was cut at 4 1/2" and the blanket at 2 1/2" with the New Arrival Cricut cartridge. I added sone glittered flocking to the wings and tail to make it look more like soft feathers.

The rattle was cut at 3 1/2", also with the New Arrival Cricut cartridge.

Journaling was done with CK Happiness font.

Supplies used: cardstock white, cream, orange, pink, and black; patterned paper - Baby's Breath, Pampered and Little Sprout Strips from Little Sprout by Fancy Pants Designs, Inc.; ribbon - JoAnn's; New Arrival, Just Because Cards and George & Basic Shapes Cricut cartridges; alphabet stickers - Lax by American Crafts; border punch - EK Success; glitter flock - my stash.
