Graphic cards with Cricut

Yesterday I made all my card choices using my Cricut. It was a lot of fun to see if I could incorporate a Cricut image into each of my cards choices. I hope you like what I came up with.

My first choice was Woodgrain Thanks. I liked the chipboard piece of a man playing guitar. I tweaked it just a bit by using an arrow to hold the sentiment, which I changed to "You Rock".

Card is 3 1/2 X 8 1/2

Supplies used: cardstock - white; pattern papers were scraps from my stash; chipboard guitar player - The Boyfriend by Cosmo Cricket; alphabet stickers - june bug by Basic Grey; arrow cut from Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridge.

I really liked both cards on the next page so it was hard to choose, but I decided on Just Married. This is my version:

Card is 4 1/2 X 4 1/2

Supplies used: cardstock - white, black, metallic gold and vellum; sentiment sticker - Wedding Day Sayings by Me and My Big Ideas; Diamond Stickles glitter glue; wedding rings cut from Sweethearts Cricut cartridge

The third card for today I chose Leafy Thinking of You which inspired me to come up with this:

Card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2

Supplies used: cardstock - white, black, yellow; rub on alphabet - Noah Ribbons by Maya Road; serendipity cut from Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridge; ScorPal scoreboard

And last I chose Feel Better Flower and came up with this design:

Card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2

Supplies used: cardstock - two shades of brown, pink, white; patterned paper is a scrap from my stash; coffe cup is cut with the Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridge; font - Rockwell

Thanks for looking!

  1. I like all the cards but I think my favorites are "You Rock" and the "Serendipity" cards. The little changes that you made to all your cards from the suggestions in the examples are very good. You "kicked it up a notch", and it looks very nice.
