Die Cuttin' Divas Superhero Challenge

We are in the triple digits here in Reno! Hot, hot, hot!!

I holed up in the house today with the AC on and watched a movie while cutting out Shopkins popcorn Boxes for my granddaughter's birthday party :)

I've already completed her banner, cupcake wrappers and water bottle labels.

Since it's Tuesday we have a new challenge for you over at Die Cuttin' Divas.
This week we are thinking comic books.
Our challenge this week over at  Die Cuttin' Divas  is Superhero's!!!

.

I thought I would have a little fun with this challenge and gear my superhero card to adults.

To create this card I used a couple of Print and cut files of Wonder Woman and speech bubble cuts from the Silhouette store. The sentiments were done on my computer using the Comic Book font.

Supplies used: card stock - 3 shades of red, black, white, silver; Silhouette Studio cut files; Print Shop program; Comic Book Font.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Die Cuttin' Divas 3D Challenge

Tuesday has rolled around again and we have a new challenge for you over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

We want you to stretch your creativity past one dimension.

Our challenge this week over at  Die Cuttin' Divas  is 3D

.

I am using a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe who is our sponsor this week.

I had braces when I was young and remember anxiously awaiting the day I would get them removed.

I couldn't wait to have my pearly white smile back again.

I decided to take this cute calendar file and make a countdown calendar for the day you get your braces off :)

The smile with braces and the teeth are cutting files from Silhouette Studio and the sentiment is from SVG Cutting Files.

Supplies used: card stock - 2 shades of blue, red, black, white, silver; patterned papers - Lawn Fawn; cutting files - The Cutting Cafe, SVG Cutting Files and Silhouette Studio; Cuttin' Up Cricut cartridge.

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.

Hope to see you playing along with us!!!!

Die Cuttin' Divas Ants or Picnic Challenge

Summer has us doing so many activities outside and one of my favorite activities is to pack a picnic and eat at a park.

Of course you do have to put up with a few pesky bugs and flying insects.

The bug that always seems to go hand in hand with your picnic is the little ant.

Our challenge this week over at  Die Cuttin' Divas  is Ants or Picnic

.

I found this darling card, that combines the two, over at SVG Cutting Files. It is called Ant Picnic Basket Card and you can purchase it here.

I think this ant, with his big eyes, is just to cute!

I was able to use scraps from my stash for all the patterned paper cuts.

Supplies used: card stock - black, grey, white, green, brown; patterned papers were all scraps from my stash; stamps by Stampendous; ink - Archival Black, twine by May Arts

Now pop on over to Die Cuttin' Divas and see all the fabulous inspiration the rest of the design team has come up with.
